Re: Warriors
Re: Warriors
I didnt read the rest of the posts as im slightly drunk, but personally I think both choices are a joke as they are both inferior to a priest/knight/barbarian/archer.
You have this great plan of balancing the class system without nerfing the priests - yet won't take the steps required to do so.
Imo 100 healing and 85 tactics, or 100 tactics and 85 healing - that might be in comparison to the the 100 resist/healing/med(for blesses) thats priests have.
Otherwise this great 'balancing' act is a joke. Lets make all the classes 'equal' yet have 1 that is twice as good as any of the equal ones. Fan*tastic.
Whats the point in balancing archers/knights/warriors/barbarians with the current setup? Ok, so you can't nerf the priests because of the people that have trained the skills, so either boost the others equally or stop trying. 85 healing and 85 tactics is inferior by a longshot, 85 tactics is complete and utter balls.
Don't mean to be offensive but im just trying to hit the point the way I see it.
Warrriors, 85 tactics? lol as if the 3-4 people that are warriors will remain in this class if that is nerfed, its the only reason to be a warrior. Its almost the exact same class as a knight without the tome and +10 str, perhaps there is a reason there is 10x as many barbarians as warriors?
Think realistic with this nerfing/boosting, either boost them equal to the best (priest), or don't bother.
All these boosts and nerfs equally are bs, removing tactics for healing? why not give both its still inferior to the priest
Knights, with 85 tactics a priest will still hit far superior/equal to the knight - and even then he has 100 healing to compensate. When you take into consideration the time to get 40p as knight compared to priest - looking at it that way a 40p knight is only comparable to a 50p priest? lose every time.
Boris I appreciate your attempt and effort to balance the classes and tomes, but without going all the way and letting the players test everything in theory (with a regular nerfing/boosting) of everything that is changed, whats the point?
I didn't mean this as a flame, just getting a point across.

Re: Warriors
So is that option 1 or 2?
Nothing else needs to be discussed in this thread.

Leather armor is best for sneaking, because it's literally made from hide.
Re: Warriors
i sort of have to agree with athan.
if we're going to balance, we have to do it all the way to the end. there's no such thing as a partial balance. it's better than nothing, but still unbalance remains.
and i agree that if priests are better than the others, why is it all this, give something to get something?we're trying to balance the class system, not to balance a class with its former self.to balance the class system, some classes, necessarily, must be boosted or nerfed, and giving something to get something doesn't boost or nerf it, it just adjusts it to be something else
sorry for the offtopic.
option 1 (i prefer to see 100 tactics warriors, than a new kind of knight class)

1, otherwise there is no reason to be a warrior. Its a knight without a tome +10str, great.
Same class, small tweaks. Honestly man look into the bigger picture as to what I tried to explain after 30 euros of alcohol.
One of the active warriors (kaladis) - said it himself on the topic in ideas even, anything less than 100 tactics for a warrior is a joke.
The other warrior being hilda, who is inactive atm - is there any others who pvp (which is the only situation in which class comparing matters)
You should ask these individuals themselves, not make a poll asking the entire shards opinion who more than likely are making uneducated decisions as to what they think.

Re: Warriors
I personally prefer 65 healing and 100 tactics, because 85 tactics is pure garbage. I would only trade the tactics for 65 poisoning and 85 healing or 100 healing, if I had to choose.
Re: Warriors
Yep what Hilda said. Warriors need tactics!

Re: Warriors
The 65% Poisoning would be the best for Warrior. It wouldn't be to OP either, they only got 65% Healing.
Re: Warriors
Yeah we all know it's pure balance having 65 poisoning if your char only has 65 healing, that means warriors can poison some other class that can be insta healed, right? why not drop healing to 0 to all classes that has 0 poisoning? lol you guys should thing about ALL other classes and handicaps before start giving your hints. Oh btw to realy balance the game delete priests and replace that class for farmer class. loool
ps: sorry Boris but i realy had this stuffed inside and had to come out someday.
Now realy about the question, i think 100 tactics and 65 healing is the best for them, 100 tactics allied with that 40 poisoning is prety decent. Regarding to healing, they can acquire indy healing cloth and can get to 70 healing if they advance to heighteen class and choose healing as an advance skill. That combined with the indy healing cloth will provide them 80 healing, wich is not bad at all, and healing pots exists to be used.

Re: Warriors
tertiary cannot be chosen as heighten skill... even though in warrior matter it should be avaible...
