There are many skilled and brave fighters throughout these lands but who, if any, are truly great?

I, Develin Masano, am looking to organize a tournament which would see its champion proclaimed the strongest fighter in the world. Iam looking for 8 participants who believe they have what it takes to be victorious. If 8 participants are not found, this will not go ahead.

Requirements to participate:

Must be able to pay 120.000 Gold entry fee.
Must be part of a fighting profession.
Must be reknowned for being a strong fighter.
Must NOT be a priest.

Fighters from religions are allowed but must respect the tournament rules in regards to religious blesses and rites.

The Rules:

No looting.
No druid blesses.
No bard blesses.
No religious armament on weapons or armour.
No religious rites.
No robbing or fighting in the crowd.

Only Exceptional weapons allowed (no magical or elite).
Magical Clothes allowed (no poison protection charges or regeneration charges).
All potions allowed (apart from invisibility).

The Tournament structure:

The participants will be assigned a number from 1-8. Numbers will then be chosen at random out of a hat to decide who fights who.

The first round will see four 1 Vs. 1 duels with four fighters eliminated.
The second round will be two 1 Vs. 1 duels with two fighters eliminated.
The final round will be the two remaining fighters in a 1 Vs. 1 duel.

The victor of the final round will be crowned the champion and will recieve 1.000.000 gold pieces in prize money and cement their place in history.

Only four have signed their names so far, all of whom are outlaws. Four more signatures are needed to make this event happen. Is there no-one brave or strong enough from the cities of Lord British or Imperial to answer this call?
