all it takes is that italy wins and croatia - spain ends with a 0-0 or 1-1 draw and some serious shit may happen (i don't know what happens in that case, since they'd be tied in goals between the three teams. if after that, the next step to rule teams out is the total of goals scored, in all games, than 4-0 vs ireland is more than enough to save spain)

and in that case, italy needs to have a good victory against ireland, or else, they're not gonna go through
