I find this statement too be right on the money. We aren't there yet, but I think, with a working siege system, a re-work of Laws RP and balancing of ALL religions tomes (1:1 ratio) it would make a clear difference for the future but it's something that you guys have to take care of. i feel that a part (a major part) if imperial's rp is on standby because we just can't build our empire further (unless you mean economically, but honestly, this is uo, what we do is we pvp and conquer towns and stuff. we can do side things, but the main point is to win in pvp and be stronger than the other side
even without the re-work of law's rp and balancing the tomes (they're a lot better than they were, even if ppl say they're not balanced) i think ppl would find more reasons to play

Everything has its goods and its bads.
Tomes are WAY MORE balanced nowadays than they used to be.
Thanks to our great staff, we've come this far that they gave us exceptional tools and now they are giving the free hands for us to play fair with eachother and have fun on this "your little brother or sister" shard.
Even the rules are being modified to make _US_ more responsible for our playing style and attitude towards eachother.
And no, you dont need 147% IQ to understand that we're all human beings behind the computers.
Lets stop the griefing and try to push out as much as possible from Pangaea.

even if we feel things are unbalanced, i know that the tomes are more balanced than before.
and i know the staff could use more members.
i have though about becoming a gm, i'm not sure in what way could i help, not to mention if i could help at all, but i still like to play xD
just keep up the work, slowly but steady will do, aslong as people don't leave, and for that, some things are necessary, mainly, reasons to log in. a part lies in the gm's hands, but another part lies in the players' hands, myself included
i'm in my father's summer house, we just went to a restaurant with lots of food, wine, liqueur, aguardiente (didn't find any english word) and typical regional aguardiente.

No offense but it's nothing but bad leadership if you can't find anything to do because your tome isn't 1:1 balanced with Law.
If you have some specific plan concerning the upcoming changes then it's up to you to and your personal decision, but it's silly to claim that Pangaea is broken if you can't do that personal plan of yours right now.
Repsak once said that Pangaea is never finished and that is 100% true. Things changes, have changed and will change within time. Right kind of approach and how you get most fun as players instead daydream of the future or mourn for the past is to adapt to the moment and play with what you have at the given time, right now. If your plans doesn't fit the current set of rites or rules or whatever, then change plans and have fun and execute those other plans when the time is right.

This is exactly what we try to do but there are some things that cannot be done like sieging towns (w/o GM support / discussion), because there is no system in place we had to satisfy staff with enough RP that showed we deserved them. If there was a working siege system it would make the IG element so much more entertaining. I have recommended some options for town-take over but the discussion stagnated. This post contradicts another post you made stating that it should be up to the players to determine. You also said, if they do rob, don't ask for assistance from religions if they are stoned / wronged. I hope you can see how this recent statement and the one you made before confuses people.

I'm not contradicting anything, I'm giving my opinion when asked about two different issues. I'm hoping you players would want to make it the most simple and fair way aswell. Like before if you decided to be a robber, you clearly was so. SoD, Cabals, Nox, etc. All of those guilds were fairly and clearly robbers without question and they didn't start any unnecessary game with "oh, so let's say you are robber and you are not and still be in the same guild so we can cheat the system hahaha!". Why would anyone need to make it any more complex. Seriously, think yourself.
