I usually don't care about the normal bags and only take the soulbound bags because then you don't have to rush + only the best soulbound bags contain the best items. Normal bags have only low tier items in them. However, the chance of a soulbound bag to drop depends of how much damage you deliver to the monster so they don't drop so often.

Normal bags are worthless. And Glarundis, I know which monsters drop which potions, but it's easier to kill them all rather than trying to pick.

Are soul bags the purple ones?

Purple, blue and white. Basically any other bag than the brown one.

Blue bags often contain potions. White bags drop the best untiered items, but these bags only drop from oryx and the toughest dungeon bosses. All these bags are soulbound so no need to rush for them.

those bags drop almost never lol
you don't have to kill only oryx and co, there are some lesser gods that drop those, and that's where we should start to farm those potions.
but the % of dropping is really low
i got like 2 purple bags max. i know it says they are soulbound, but for some reason i think i've seen ppl still getting items from those bags and making them disappear

It has gone quite repeative very fast though, yet it still has its charm.
