Negation / PvM
Negation / Interdico Veneficus
Creates a negation field, blocking off magic of all sorts in that area.
Actually beats OoN's "super ritual" Sylvan Silence. Works against silent casters as well. All religions have it.
Some have suggested using this in PvM is not legal. Recently it has been told me it is. What is the truth?

At least on the old pangaea it was illigal...
Re: Negation / PvM
Just out of curiusity.
How big off range does it have and how many poeple does it take to conjure it?
and what's the point off having it if it's illegal to use?.

Re: Negation / PvM
Most people knew about Negation. The difference was, since you required at least 150 piety to succeed to a minimal advantage, it's uses were impractical unless of coarse you had a large hunting party.
As far as I can say, if the rite is in there, it's legal to use it. It's no different than Nature spamming Silence. The difference is is that this is a LOT harder to cast. *Shrugs* As far as I'm concerned, if I have the mind, and the power to use it, I'll use it. Since I very seldom have that opportunity, and when I do we usually don't use rites, I doubt I'll use it anyway.

I agree with Geryn, even worse for the poor guys who don't have Swarm, Silence, or Lustrous Aura, and other sexy rites.

I hope gm's wont mind if Imperial do some testing on HOW good this rite acculy is.
If 150 if the piety needed I think we can hit that spot :S.

I'm not 100% on the range, but if you dump enough piety into it, the effects will cover over a 30x30 tile grid.Quintoz wrote:Just out of curiusity.
