Not sure how Alliance works on red yet, but I am willing to try with you as well, since Imperial has no form of a Salvation system.

Alliance is temporary, its effect wears off. IIRC it lasts like up to one week, not sure though.

Alliance works on reds, the rite is set to last i think a day or two and it will allow anyone to be around your guards.
