3 high piety priests or 5 (five!) medium piety priests together should be pretty powerful so if the 150 piety case is true I personally would rather see it as legal. Nature can silence with just one priest. This would also make religions more equal, considering at least Imperial completely lacks PvM rituals. Except Veritas, which is more like a rite than a ritual, like guard summoning.

That is one of natures perks. If you want the silence ability go to nature. As Alteran its illegal to do this and it should be especially considering how many 50 piety priests there is then its easy to make it.

So... Why is it in ALL of our tomes, then? It's illegal to use, yet it costs SO much piety JUST to cast it. Not to mention 106 med minimum to succeed. It's use is to stop magic users from casting.

If we can't use the damned thing, then remove it from our tomes, otherwise, allow its uses.

What's next? Outlaw the use of Blessed Peace because it's "so powerful" and allows people to have 1 insta res with full blesses and gear?

I've never used Negation, but if it's such a big deal, remove it from the damned tome.
