quintos are you still crying ?.
it was ment for pvp that the reason you all got it , i can change it sure in the scribt , but for now if you cant handle your self i can make it so that it require 15000 piety to cast untill you need it for pvp.
it not a pvm rite.

First off all, I only cry when I'm nude and lying down in the shower.
Second of all, I just wanted to know WHY the rite was made in the first place, since it dosen't block rites.

It blocks things like druids and necros and mages. That can be helpful to hinder druid curses and what not.

Problem is... If you're stupid enough to have two other equally stupid people cast an incredibly stupid Defigo in the middle of a PvP battle, the use of it in PvP is HIGHLY impractical. I mean, how many magic users have PvP'd in the last... I dunno year? 1. And out of those mages, how many of them can get 1-2 hit from 90% of the players on this shard? Show of hands anyone?

It's usefulness in PvP is non existent. It's like seeing 5 50 piety Tekstoners surrounding you and you cast Solitude. PvM has infinitely more uses, unless of coarse one of you GM's are going to make a Mage character during the next one of your attacks. Yet I've seen you all make priests. And ladies and gentlemen.... Which rite works vs priests?????? Answer: Interdiction.

Once again proving Negation is utterly, utterly, utterly useless in PvP in this shard. Maybe back in the day fighting against Ancient Powers, but not anymore. Besides, when anyone lately sees a mage in PvP they're not even scary. And druid curse is ineffective as the cursed gets reskilled, reblesses within 2 minutes, and is back in the fight. For a fight like that, no one is going to waste their time casting something that, unless PERFECTLY executed, perfectly timed, and perfectly placed, will make a slight difference in the outcome of the battle. Also, what few of you realize, is that Negation only works WITHIN the negation field, meaning if you were to try to cast it inside the field it wouldn't. If I were to say precast Kal Vas Flam, then run into the field, and click on someone, you still get roasted.

At least that's the way it was.

Interdiction blocks casting of Guards, too.

Geryn it has several uses, you could use it to defend your temple as a big thing, and also I told you we would discuss making it stop casting of rites aswell.

The reason that I for one have played a priest character is because it was dealing with religious stuff, on anything I would honestly much rather play a caster generally either a monk or druid. The rite is illegal in PVM that has been and for the time being will be the same. You just got to think out of the box when using some of the rites. Each of them have their uses, some are maybe less useful than others but they still have a purpose.
