Message to Young Merchants.

Whilst I have never met you Gret Grump I feel I must utter a warning to merchants who may be enticed by this kind offer.
The city of Minoc was recently overrun by imperials in a cowardly night time attack where they slaughtered innocent guards and citizens in their beds. Whilst Imperials themselves like to bribe and entice merchants they have set up an alliance with Ancient Powers and Tekstone who they allow to freely enter these towns.
Both of these guilds have the most vicious and violent outlaws and murderers in the land who have been known to kill and loot passing merchants and adventurers for their goods on multiple occasions and will actively seek excuses to carry out these heinous attacks.
Whilst you may think their alliance with Imperial may protect you i can guarantee you that Imperials are not the sort to risk an alliance over the death of a merchant(s). The majority of these materials are very very cheaply available from merchants inside Britain, and the people of Britain are mostly extremely generous and I’m sure could buy you one of these items or hand you a small sum of gold for them if you are indeed too poor to afford such items.
My appologies to Gret Grump, whilst I am sure you are full of good intentions Minoc is not a safe place right now.

You say that Akkarrin while Sebastion Lloth comes and kills merchants in lands while they are not paying attention. Followers of Winchester are by far the most ruthless and uncaring people of the lands. The Order of Imperial guided by Esuna's beliefs are always just and protect people in their towns and will not allow people to harm them. I honestly suggest you concentrate on towns that your order are in crontrol of as I have heard very horrible things happen to people when they enter Britain under a so called protection by the Order of Law.

I do not wish to change this topic into a religous argument but we are not the ones who allied a group of murderous necromancers and then proceeded to launch a surprise attack on a city and murder its citizens thus wrecking a year of peace.. just in the interest of gaining more land. I saw many innocent merchants with flesh rotting off of thier skin in Vesper today cast by a tekstone rite, when i tried to cast a rite to heal them and ease their pain one of your order seized on the chance to attack me. Melinda was taken care off as all merchants are under the breast of esuna they are most important to our order, her blessings are great and such are the rewards for choosing to worship her as a merchant. So you see Akkarin your lies fall upon death ears as everyone knows the order of imperial needs people like melinda a grandmaster tinker and the grandmaster blacksmith gret grump. if we are to slay the innocent then how are we going to survive.
Our order grows and so does our needs for men and women to arm us and supply boats for the transport of gaurds that patrol our newly aqquired citys, from the terrorist that are the order of law and nature.
Mr Grump I would very much like to talk to you in person, as would I other merchants we have noticed visiting minoc and vesper we require arms and armors for our men, to ensure safety of the realm of her.

This is all true, I got some infection when I was caught in the middle of the battlefield and it was the order of the imperial that came to my aid as soon as it was noticed.
While their alliances may have some questionable characters for some I must say that I feel at least as safe in an Imperial city as I do to one belonging to order of the law.

Don't worry citizens. The might of our alliance is stronger than anything witnessed above these lands and as such is more than capable to protect you or any seeking for shelter. The succesful sieges of Skara Brae and Minoc speaks for our behalf. You are way better of seeking protection from us than from those who fail to even show to defend their own lands. We might have a scarlet-red history painted in blood, but know that the past will be covered by a bright future and as a proof of it the towns of Imperial lay immune to sickness of war, famine, pestilence and death.
I welcome you Gret Grump and wish you have a pleasant stay within the Imperial borders, within the shelter of the great mining town Minoc. However, I do feel responsible of warning you that Order of Law has been caught attacking defendless merchants in the Imperial lands. I do not wish to frighten you though, only to prepare you. I believe you have nothing to worry about, but still I urge you to stay cautious and be aware when and if you deal with them. It is your own choise who you trade with, but know they might consider you an enemy just because you take residence in Minoc. If such thing happens and they come knocking at your door with hostile intentions, please do let us know with haste.
The price of war is a heavy burden we all share and carry, but the thought of hope for a better tomorrow shall give us comfort. The land will be purged and peace will be achieved, that much I promise.

Make your peace with your god Maven Vaux for now you are truely damned. Even in her eyes you have betrayed a eternity of Imperial religion by allying with the Tekstones just for a chance grab at some land.
