I do hope that you're not going to trigger this thread into a flame-war and dig up the past.Mike wrote: Personally, I'm sad to see abuse still happening.
It's done, you've also been on this scale and dont even dare to deny that. It's not about the fact that we got no SS to prove something that you haven't done it's that i am not that low - i can see clearly that this thread is being aimed at a personal level.
I'd see this thread locked up before it turns out too nasty. This could be taken privately elsewhere and it's a player vs. player debate not to wave around your grief.
PS; If we're talking about Holy Areas then this thread should be in the Religion section, but seeing it on the very public justifies your playerhating scale to an even clearer level.

Just wondering how this topic is useless?Ricardus wrote:Hum... i got forum jail for less than what walac is doing and did in past... so i'm wondering if he will receive the same treatment as i did and this useless topic will be locked... of nothing will hapen to him and i'll get a new ban for this
"I ban thee" is being abused while in the temple altar area. This is an issue and should be dealt with.
There have been suggestions on how to fix things, and i think the best one so far was making it so you can only target NPC's.
Even if there has been BS started, try and focus on the issue and work towards the goal of fixing it.
Re: "I Ban Thee" in Holy Area.
This topic is digging up old shit that has already been dealt with. The current issue shouldn't per se be against the rules (the rule states it's illegal to do in altar/temple area, not inside Holy house).KrondorZuula wrote:Just wondering how this topic is useless?Ricardus wrote:Hum... i got forum jail for less than what walac is doing and did in past... so i'm wondering if he will receive the same treatment as i did and this useless topic will be locked... of nothing will hapen to him and i'll get a new ban for this

Dude... that's a matter to be brought to staff in private and they discuss on their own terms etc. Keep bitxing about stuff and pointing fingers at other players is not the way.

Re: "I Ban Thee" in Holy Area.
Sorry, but this kind of writing doesn't help stop the abusing that's going on since its entirely irrational. I don't know if it's a conscious decision to abuse because the punishment is worth it if there's enough to lose, or something that just happens in the moment. Whatever it is, we need better ways to prevent it.Zaradon wrote:I do hope that you're not going to trigger this thread into a flame-war and dig up the past.Mike wrote: Personally, I'm sad to see abuse still happening.

Can someone still elucidate what kind of abusing is GOING ON (present tense)?

Re: "I Ban Thee" in Holy Area.
I'm guessing you are blind or were to lazy to read and understand my post, as i said that there is still and issue and to look past the "BS" that was there and focus on the actual issue which is the fact that "I ban thee" is abused. I dont care personally who it was, not trying to get them a punishment, just want the issue to be sorted, i was not at this battle, yet i still believe it is an issue. I'm also not pointing fingers or "bitching" about "stuff". I am talking in a reasonable manor trying to get a solution to the issue. Step back a moment and think about the issue.Ricardus wrote:Dude... that's a matter to be brought to staff in private and they discuss on their own terms etc. Keep bitxing about stuff and pointing fingers at other players is not the way.
"I ban thee" can be abused to keep attackers out of the temple.
Solution: make "I ban thee" command only target-able on NPC's in altar/holy temple area.
Edit: Also, even though it is illegal, doesn't mean people are still not going to abuse it. Which is why a solution like above would be good.
Re: "I Ban Thee" in Holy Area.
I can assure you that starting on a public thread with this kind of approach like;Mike wrote:Whatever it is, we need better ways to prevent it.
*Natures are lamers
*Natures are abusers
*Look everyone, how bad they are!
And you're talking big like you'd have a right to judge over any player on the shard?
Sorry, but the thread needs to be either locked on removed.
Restart the thread as an idea in a proper manner to discuss it further, else we'll get nowhere except forum jails.
That kind of attitude does not belong here, honestly.
Do something else than hate players for what they did, christ.
