I'm pretty upset by this... If full planting was a bug why were a handful of players allowed to rake in money with it for a long long time... and then the moment more players figure it out it gets nerfed..

Sorry but if this is how things are gonna go you gotta tear down all existing fields immediately.

No fields should be grandfathered - you've already allowed several players a huge advantage for a long time and you're cutting off those just figuring out how to make the damn thing work.

Please either unfix the "bug" or destroy all full planted fields immediately.

Everyone cool down.

I agree with the fix. The fields just produce too much and can be afk farmed. The fact that existing fields won't be touched right now is just Neon being a good guy. I agree that we could've informed a bit better about this before implementing it though.

But it's not going to change, so deal with it.

This should've probably been fixed right back when it was found. But well, better late than never.

Yep. I've no idea why it's been this long.

I'm fine with the change but they don't get to have their cake and eat it too. Grandfathering is out of the question IMO, just wanted to make sure the double stuffed fields will come down as soon as possible.

Edit: And sorry for bein' grumpy but this change effectively made half of my playtime in the last two months pointless. I wish we'd have known it was a bug sooner. So much work for nothing... I locked down a huge quantity of furrow deeds just yesterday or the day before that are all junk now since they sit too close to other furrows =/.

Timing for this could not possibly have been worse for me =P

The furrow deeds arent wasted at all Squish...to add insult to injury you must completely fill in the field even if nothing at all is planted on the tile. Otherwise the game will tell you...you need more furrows to plant anything.

Ah thanks still haven't put down any seed myself. Good to know anyway. Makes the situation quite a bit better than I thought. Not really time wasted. Sorry for freaking out, carry on then.

Is it true that recently I noticed cases where changes were made by one staff while some others were not aware of it nor completely agreed to it? To me it seems like the staff are not organized and lack of communication and understanding. Even though this issue does not effect me at all, I as a player feel quite disrespected because this is effecting players in a not small scale. For whatever bug there is out there, I think the staff organization needs a fix first.

I have never known this "bug" exists nor announced, but maybe I just have not been around for long enough to speak for the majority of players. Yes it should have been notified when it first showed sign because we all know sooner or later it will spread. Of course now people already spent millions on preparing the land, and months to plant the fields, it is simply too harsh to take the farm away. But we also know there are only a couple of players who were able to take the advantage of the "delay" in the staff's actions and become well-developed. I would suggest, if in the future the staff shall plan to make it fair for everyone by changing those lands back, to give the owners of their densely-planted fields a notice couple months ahead, before you change their lands back. I am sure they can make the profit back from their fields to cover the time and gold they spent in their farms, if not already.
