Had the idea for a long time + was planned for P2 aswell. When two things go together = all good.
But here to explain why....
- Archers took the only nerf, but it's no real nerf, wich I hope you all understand.
- Assasins have needed a boost for a long time. This is just one boost and more are coming. Basic idea of this is less int gain from poisoning training and now assasins are the kings of dexterity. I can promise 200 dexterity is magical.
- Rangers got a tiny boost aswell, as they're the "tanks" of archering. They got their halberds back (no idea why they were restricted in the first place), full plates back (back to old school) and now they recieved more strenght aswell to use those heavy weapons. Rangers can also gain piety up to 40, don't forget that.
- Mages, well no real change there. They simply took a small boost (that in my head makes no real difference) and now they're in the same statscap as necros and druids.
What comes to class updates in general, the idea is not to touch the structure of the class system, but instead boost the skills themselves to make them more useful and efficent. What was done today is just small tuning and the tip of the iceberg.

Leather armor is best for sneaking, because it's literally made from hide.
more than the update from 150 to 160dex i really loved the int cap being reduced to 80.
and i think this is really good for rangers.
125str + halberd/archery + 40 piety + full plates
oh i just remembered. can the pangaea website class system be updated?
also, when should we expect the rest of the webshard fix?
i was reading again what you said, and instead of changing class system all around maybe it does make more sense to "fix" the skills so they give a good help to those that have it. now, it was more directed at statcap but i suppose skills will come later.
what are your thoughts on detecting hidden?
since my assassin can be tracked by a 85 tracking guy, could detecting hidden be made so that it counts towards tracking/uncover these chars?

Surely there are some clear cases that need to be tuned, but nothing massive.
What comes to skills boosts in general, direct them to Ideas for Pangaea.
