Sir Winchester was once a noble and honorable knight. He stood behind his believes and against all odds faced the Dark Apostle and Dennac's might. He did die, but he died with honor. And such honor raised him from the dead and granted him immortality. You should thank us and our Lord for if it wasn't for us, you'd have no god. Such man, Winchester with such actions holds great respect within our ranks. You, the current Order of Law, however fail to fill his shoes. You, Kent Strider and your friends are nothing but a barbaric brutes. You have no honor, no pride. I wonder when will the people of Britannia realize this. I miss the days when even if we were enemies, I could tell that a Law member was always a man of his word, fair, just and honorable... just like we are even if from a different point of view.

P.S. Six of your Law friends, Elya Neyli, John Longfall, Patrick Lance, Sebulba, Quentin Lanister and this one other idiot tried to attack our altar yesterday. You might be able to attack our temple when there's none of us to defend it, but you aren't so tough when I'm standing between you, are you? I killed them and it was more than easy. I didn't, however, take a shit in their mouth, cut their heads or otherwise disgrace their bodies. I'm far superior and more honorable than that. I take pride through my own actions and I proof myself through my scepter, I don't hide behind a loud mouth and an army of friends.

I remember the days when Tekstone didn't walk hand in hand with robbers. You speak of pride and honour yet your cult is allied with various different robber groups, you help them rob innocent citizens, give them sanctuary in your cosy little cave and offer them protection from imprisonment. Pride and honour indeed, who knew the once so revered cult would sink so low.

What they do during the nights, out from our view is their own business. All I can say at least such persons aren't part of our proud cult. Unlike in your case, your members are nothing but thugs and brutes. Not all hope is lost though, some traitors have joined your cause and it appears they are the only ones with any honor. But then again that doesn't come as a surprise, after all being old members of our Cult taught them to show respect.

Darian Darkmind.. I really doubt you remember meeting me, back when I was devoted to Her. As far as women go, I greatly admire you. Not because of what you do, that much saddens me. But I know you're a person of integrity, to the point that you've never faltered from following Dennac. I can't begin to imagine the scars that cover your body, the hardships you've endured. I understand your loathing for us, the men and women of Law. Even some of the people we try to protect hate us.

Hate is human nature, as is love. You can't hate without understanding love, as you can't love without having felt the powerful force of hate. Love is hard, hate is easy. I myself am an entirely imperfect human being borrowing a fraction of power from a being that wanted to make a difference, to help protect those that want to live without harming others and stop those that live to hurt others. He believed in this so much that he sacrificed his life in the line of duty.

I will never be an entirely good person. I have a lot of love in my heart for the people of this land and beyond, but I sometimes fall prey to the darkness in my soul. It passes each time, I remember these moments of weakness, they make the lighter moments more joyous. I'm quite rambling. I imagine I'm likely boring you to tears, if you're even still reading my letter.

I'm not a Law man because I seek power, fame, or infamy. I'm a Law man because it's something that has to be done. If I knew that I could sacrifice my soul in exchange for humanity to seek a path of harmony, I wouldn't hesitate. A strong bottle of liquor would kiss my lips before I die, this much I admit.

Peace.. Could you imagine such a world? It's a wonderful dream, a nirvana. I'm sure it would have its dull moments, but the world would have a beautiful song to listen to.

I'm not sure why I rambled like that, but the fact is that this world is horrible and we of Law must try our best to protect it from your Cult and the murderers that you work with. I will not falter, I will never surrender. I've fallen in the line of duty, and it will happen again. Make no mistake, you're no different than the robbers now Darian Darkmind, and for that I shed a tear, I've lost my respect for a powerful opponent.

Honor is an idea that has no basis in the material world and does not stand up to the light of scientific inquiry. The idea of honor lends a sense of legitimacy to killing that can be accepted by the masses, and in such cases where the killer has no understanding of natural human behavior, can serve as self deception. Fighting and killing is driven by base human instinct. When small human emotions are brushed aside and the true nature of the universe is presented, it can only be concluded that inflicting death, pain and humiliation means nothing.
