What came to RP, I have to agree. They did it very nicely and with skill. Too bad all their names were taken from the three musketeers and other books. They never robbed me and I only once saw them outside of their own locked house, outcluding the times I made some business with them, but I gotta tip my hat for them for the same reason, they were 'always there', yet you never saw them. Also I liked it how they kneeled under Tekstone's power when we declared Wayfarers as well as few other guilds under Dennac's protection... even when I didn't know nor was a friends with any of them.Marcus Orisso wrote:Artemis and all members of Bregen D'aerth.
FOR SERIOUS.
Old Cabals were awesome. Gabriz, Ranc's archer - can't remember the name - and few others were stealthing around britain bank and listening while Law kept bashing them down. I remember some Law guy, back when most guys were still knights and not priests going all "They are always hiding to their houses, those cowards!" only to realize all cabals were right next to him, just stealthing. They all appeared for a moment laughing at the laws only to disappear again before guards got to them.
SoD was my biggest pain. Like stated before they always found me and robbed me daily. The name Servant Of Death appearing at my screen always ruined the day. For a very long time they were my sworn enemies. Many times I tried to hunt them down with Jowal and Crowley, but of course when Crowley was around the SoDs were all hiding. And when Crowley wasn't around they were looting me. Fuckers. Good thing we're all friends now.
The rest of the robber guilds ever created aren't even worthy of mentioning. The most were either lame and poorly organized, often made by 'older' players who no longer cared due to being killed and looted by some of the above robber guilds/Tekstone or simply as a joke by, again, 'older' and commonly nicer players who just want something else to do without really causing any real pain to anyone. Those robbers were often very poorly trained as well and were no real threat to anyone. Just like my Marius of Nox. Less than 90 str, 90 fencing etc... the whole guild was originally made as a joke. The purpose was to have some friends, about 10-20 "Do'Brims" - who all sucked ass - acting all big as a group. Eventually it was fun and some people decided to train their characters as well - or marry a Do'Brim with already trained character.
