The difference in power, the imbalance, the favoritism, the fact that one class > all others. Without religions all of that is eradicated, I wasn't saying religions are weaker, I was saying they are bullshit, or a better way to word it is have a negative impact on the shard.
There would be no bullshit from players whining about things being unfair. It would be a free for all. Druids would be the leaders of the 'nature' of the shard, necromancers of dark and evilness. Every other class would generally be down to the person to decide what way they want to play it.

My views on religion in real life are similar to those of it on pangaea, it was created to control people.
When religion was created thousands of years ago, sin and you we're going to hell or to be stoned to death - it controlled the population and kept order.
On pangaea, break the rules or be an asshole and you risk losing piety/being thrown from the reigion. Or if you chose the 'dark side' on pangaea, you get to be owned so easily by people who are in gear 10x worse than you and don't understand hand to hand combat - thus steering people away from choosing the 'dark side'.

Correct me if i'm wrong here, its all about control right?

So no religions mean no pvp or murderers? I'm guessing you haven't played very many other shards?
Why not leave it in the players control of who does what?
At the minute, its if you oppose law (tekstone, imperial, normal reds, murderers) - you lose if they have any ounce of sense when using that tome.
If there was no religions, it would be open and free to anyone to make any sort of character and play it good or bad, without them being able to whine about anything.
Can you not see where im coming from?

Hell wouldn't it be perfect if
- the religion rites became balanced.
- the 3d problem was fixed.
- no religion-robber alliance could be established.
- robbers were hunted by all religions but they got an apt(I am not saying a better reward, mind you) reward for all the shinanigans they go through.
- we could all stop the hatin' and start the lovin' (Kerbal we need more pipes and weed.)
- skill gains were designed in a way so that there would be no more macroing for hours on end pointlessly.

Just my thoughts if stone time is reduced, or stoning was removed altogether, I think that there should be a repercussion for robbers and a boost for their victims.

And Athan, there are enough robbers(the walkers of the dark path as you said) as it is, and with the removal of religions, I don't know what the hell would happen to blues. So I say it's a good thing to steer people off the dark path.

I've been in a stone before. Lasted a little over a month. My crime was killing off bankers. I decided to allow Law to capture me, in an effort to roleplay with them. I could have escaped easily, given my class, but I went along with it. Was the roleplay worth it? Yes and no. While my character was stoned, you know what I did? I played another damn character. I don't like being in a magical prison, but hey, I was being the bad guy, that's the price. You all need to get this twisted sense of fairness out of your head. If you're killing and robbing people, you've earned it.
