Re: Barbarian speciality
i think the para/blowback would be the best addition, could really help if you were in a clutch moment.

Only if we're talking of 1 tiling and getting stuck by a horde of elemental mobs, It may sound helpful.KrondorZuula wrote:i think the para/blowback would be the best addition, could really help if you were in a clutch moment.
But here's what i usually take with me on a regular (high rank) hunt.
Let it be Khaldun;
150 gheals
500 bandages
20 manavampires. (if not more)
Most of the resources above get dryed.
Why so many gheals? I usually spam them at getting to 130hp and the 500 bandages to cover the fails.
So, now lets see how much coins i actually gain from a 4 man Khaldun run.
Khaldun with a picker gets roughly around 250-300k (correct me if i'm wrong).
My share from the hunt would be 75k.
And the resources i'm using are worth of;
18k for gheals (120gp/per)
2k for bandages (4 gp/per)
60k for manavampires (3000gp/per)
A total of 80k spent on a hunt, a total of 75k earned for 2 (+/-) hours.
If it was up to me, i'd lower the int cap down to 30. So the manavamp cost could get reduced. It's been "fixed" at some point, but the gainrate at that level is frustrating, it wont help if you change it to 0.1 from 0.8 below 20 mana.
The gainrate would be much smaller and leaves the barb to play more with his stats. We are very much cornered if we want to achieve 175 STR, we basically may only PvP with the class, but if it comes to PvM. We have to get our dex to 70 and what happens if we get a mass curse by something evil? (A balron -30?)
Have fun hitting something with 40 dex + halberd, considering our hitrate.
As one more note, the 30 int-cap would also be a gain and loss. The spell resistance should be affected by it, as the gainrate of MR - if i'm not mistaken.

We're done here as well. Future plans and discussion will continue on GM boards/chat.

Leather armor is best for sneaking, because it's literally made from hide.
