- Scribes now have 40 lumberjacking and 65 carpentry so they can make their own maps and scrolls. We've removed cooking and fishing from the class instead.
It's fine I appreciate the leap forward, however, as I have posted a few times in the past, making scrolls and blank maps have a skill check of like 70ish so a scribes 40 tinkering makes 0 scrolls or maps, I just double checked this on my scribe with her 40 tinkering and out of 100 normal boards I made exactly...wait for it....0 blank scrolls. So unless making scrolls/maps also takes into account carpentry which I don't believe it does at all, scribes will need to have their tinkering boosted to 65 as well, unless this was done and not mentioned in the update. The only other thing it might be is perhaps their skill check is supposed to be 40 but somewhere in the scripts the skill number gets passed through the whirly thing that flips it to the side and spins it around to give us a higher number.

Scribe has been granted 65 tinkering as well, Shouldnt that work out properly.....we can always look at lowering the requirements for making blank maps/scrolls.
But please train tinkering to 65 first and then let me know the results

Carpentry does not make maps and scrolls that is the tinkering skill, carpentry makes the boards.
