Glad to see the Pangaea community is still alive and kicking.

For those of you wondering, the PangRunUO project is not dead, we merely had some temporary winter hibernation. It's understandable if people are sceptical, given the fate of Pang2.

We still strongly believe that RunUO (heavily modified) is the future for Pangaea, given the limitations on scripting/finding scripters for POL.

We've gone ahead and fixed two of the key underlying issues for PangRunUO:
1.) Combat should now work more similar to PangPOL - if you're attacked by a player or NPC, you will now automatically fight back even if you're not in war mode. See here
2.) We've also replaced the forum with a new platform, as the old one just wasn't working out. The new forum is at forum.pangaea-shard.com, while the old forum can still be found at oldforum.pangaea-shard.com. Unfortunately you will need to re-register on the new forum. We'll be transferring key posts from the old forum over to the new one over the next few days.

Over the next week we hope to open the remainder of the world (without quests unfortunately, as this proved to be a key source of delays) as well as finish the final touches on ores.

While I won't interfere with Boris' proposal to revive PangPOL, we should be able to bring PangRunUO to the a level where we can convince everyone that it is the best option. The time for promises is over, we need to show by doing, and I hope the combat changes and the forum replacement are a good start.
