tbh i'm not expecting much from portugal.
in general, we have good players, especially midfielders, but our offensive power sucks atm

imo, it will be hard for a team to defeat portugal, but it will also be equally hard for that team to lose

in offensive terms, we are a joke when compared to other teams like germany/spain/argentina/brazil

i'm expecting to see those 4 in the semifinals. unless a miracle happens and portugal replaces one of those teams

(i'm not even confident about portugal proceeding to the 8th - finals)

Sorry to say, but Iran will probably only collect defeats. Pretty much the same as USA, so they can go all party afterwards.

Portugal is screwed. Ghana is a big bone to bite when you're clueless on how to score goals, and a second spot in the group will hand, most probably Russia, Argentina and Spain in the knockouts. A quarter final is the best they can hope.
I'd say Germany will take the gold. I hope Brazil flops hard (Scolari deserves all the hate and failure going his way), but I still see them in semifinals. England is the main candidate to the biggest fail, while Uruguay looks consistent and wouldn't be surprised if they topped their group. I dislike Italy and I rather like Belgium. Unfortunately, a very probable 1/8 against Germany will not let them go a long way.

Anybody can win. Unless it's Greece and Germany. Than we know who is going to lose ! The entire reason these teams made it this far is because they were able to win and ultimately that is what matters. <24 hours until the opening ceremony and kickoff! I'm bloody excited!

I only care about Ghana right now, can't even begin to discuss past that. We need a win from them or there is no hope leaving this group.

i'm not sure how ghana is doing right now, but i remember the world cup of 2006 or was it 2010, i was very surprised by their quality

i also really liked to see uruguay playing the last world cup

i think it's gonna be won by argentina (if they play properly) or germany, but who knows..it can be brazil, it can be spain..

#SeFutbol! America. . I'll get excited if they can make it out of the group. First game will mean everything for US. If we don't beat Ghana, even w/o Ronaldo, Portugal is a formidable team and no push-over. The best chance US has is to beat Ghana, short of that win, I won't be getting on the bandwagon.

For the group of death it goes like this: Germany > Portgual > Ghana | USA OR Germany > Portugal > USA | Ghana. US has to beat Ghana and they gotta beat Portugal. We'll see how it goes though.

Seriously. This guys got some mad skills. Not sure how old the video is, but I just received it on Facebook. I haven't followed soccer or football I suppose to other cultures, since I played back in high school though. I did enjoy playing it a lot. You all might like the video tho.
