Story of Shani.

A Stormfull night about twenty years ago a little girl was born
by the woman Shani. Shani allready had 3 other girls but this
night something horrible happend, a Vampire stumbled into the
room as she was about to give birth, her children tried to fight
the vampire but failed they all was knocked down to the floor,
and the Vampire went straight for Shani and bit her.

That night Cate Shani was born, with a scent of Vampire in her
blood, She is not like other Women and has a angry temperament
if she dont get her will. Her sisters Loraine, Aurina and Cathie Shani
all was going to be merchants but Cate couldnt see herself sitting
and work all the day long so as she aged 16 she went traveling
out in the wilderness.
The sisters didnt see her for at least a year and Cate returned to
the Shani Home of Brittain. Her sisters greeted her with a little fear
in the backhead as they knew she was a part Vampire, Loraine
greeted her with some bread without garlic, Cathie with a key to
the home, and Aurnia with her company for the rest of the day,
Cathie went out mining and Loraine took off to harvest some wheat.

Aurnia sat down with Cate and they took a talk.

Aurnia: So how is the training going? i hear tales about a famed
Cate Shani *She smiles a bit*
Cate: The Training is well, i joined the Warriors guild but i'm kinda
tired of just running around and fight foes for small bounties, i want
more of a fight.
Aurnia: hmm, so what have you been thinking to do now you have
returned home?
Cate: I belive i will resign my post as a warrior and train to something
else, but i definately dosnt know what yet.
Aurnia: yeah well, you could allways join the family buisness *Grins a bit*
Cate: *laughs* you know i never would just go out gather some ore
or hides and then sit down and work the rest of my life, you know it is
to short for that!
Aurnia: Yes i know you think that way, and how about you know...
*silent a while* ... is it going well with your "gift"?
Cate: yeah well... i dont hunger for blood at least, and i am still trying
to find the blasted Vampire who took the life of our mother, when i kill
that beast i will be free again.
Aurnia: I hope you know what you are doing?
Cate: ofcurse i know what i am doing, and those other Vampires wont
speak of the one i am looking for, they seem afraid of that beast!
Aurnia: I am afraid too my sister, i am afraid that you wont return and
we should get the letter telling you have died!
Cate: I Wont die Aurina, i wont.
*silence covers the room*

After a few days and some short travels Cate had along her some Vampire
bones, Lizardman Warlock hides, and other fancy stuff for her sisters. They
thanked her and gave her some food, and made her a bed to sleep in.
Cate's Sisters was still a bit afraid that the Vampire genes in Cate would
take the overhand and make her a Vampire, but Cate was strong both
mentally and in fysics, so it never happend, a year later Cate was missing a
morning, the sisters found a note on Cate's bed.

-I am sorry to leave without warning but a matter has come up and i had to
attend to it, i will eventually return back in a year or so but for the wile i am
out of town you can have what i have left behind me. Yours Cate Shani-

For a year they didnt see anything to their Sister Cate, but one day someone
knocked at the door.

Cathie answered in a yell: Who is it?
Cate: Its me Cate! Open the door.
Cathie: Cate! thank god you are okay, times are getting hard here in brittain,
big fighters and the lord are fighting for power over the land now, and we try
to stay as neutral as we can, but Aurnia has been knocked down by two men
allready, claiming they rule the northern world.
Cate: Those bastards, is she okay?
Cathie: Yeah she's okay, just a little scraches and such nothing big, but she's
afraid to go out and chop tree's now.
Cate: I am sorry that i have been away so long, but something went wrong in
my hunt and i had to get it sorted out.
Cathie: okay, now your back home.
Cate: *smiles* yeah now i'm back home.
Cathie: so for how long are you gonna stay this time?
Cate: untill i find out what side to join i will stay, here, and i should be training
right now but i am tired and hungry.
Cathie: take some bread and lie down, sleep well sister.
Cate: thanks you to, when you get so far *Grins*
Cathie: *Smiles*

Today it is still that Cate is learning new skills of combat and her sisters try to
gather as much material as they can untill they cant go out of their door without getting killed.

Cate found friends withing the De'Mauno Shop and was
accepted inside as she was willing to join them,
Cate wanted to learn from them and maybe seek help in them some day,
she was allmost ready to seek out her father but one day,
she stumbled about another lady of war.
Faye Shani, she was her sister all the way to the blood,
but werr diffrent they indeed are,
Faye are the humble silent one, who wants to help people
and kill the monsters by her bow,
Cate on the other hand was just as willing to help but, also
just kill the monsters by bare hands if she had the chance.
Cate and Faye now run along, side by side, training in their
arts of weaponry to get skilled enough to carry out Cate's born burden.

Faye knows about all wich Cate is going through and Cate is
happy to see Faye whenever they meet,
they dont talk much together, they just look at eachother and
they know what the other one is thinking.

Lets smash some monsters!

And a few moments later they are on their hunts smashing
and bashing around in the forests, mountains and in the caves.
Faye who has become just as skilled as Cate makes a good partner Cate thinks,
as they run around taker stronger and stronger monsters down for every day.

Theese days you wont see Faye that often anymore, nor even Cate,
Cate is on a long trip, to gather strength,
and Faye is training her skills in the archery combat, but one day
they for sure will meet again and join the fight against the monsters once again.
