The Arrangement

[Tyrion]

Tyrion sealed the letter with the emblem of Imperial and waited for the wax to cool, indicating that the letter had been as hermetically sealed as possible to deter prying eyes. He uttered additional words of power to ensure that none but the intended recipient could read the message. Satisfied with this finished copy he fiddled with the carrying case and closed the top. Tyrion handed the scroll casing to the messenger and sent him on his way. Normally the means of magical communication were more adequate for a job requiring speed, however, there had been rumors that painted an eerie picture of the security of that form of communication and Tyrion preferred taking the time required to ensure the message was delivered without a man-in-the-middle having intercepted it's contents.

Tyrion re-read the contents of that message to himself quietly. The scene unfolded as the motions of his hand began to replay in his mind and the ink began to form the words across the piece of parchment:

Dearest Orin,

We have come to a consensus within the Order in favor of the arrangement we agreed upon. You will be happy to know that plans are already in motion. Additionally, your request has been met with a bit of uncertainty, and raised additional questions, most of which shall be answered in time. I feel it is my responsibility to also notify you as to the progression made so far regarding our conversation. I am happy to report that we are on schedule and nearing completion!
