Law Aura heals you and people around you, gives you mana and cures poison? Correcto?

Also increases the size of your e-peen.
But yeah, you're mostly correct.

Re: Veritas/Malleus/Keening mana consumption
If the idea is to stop people from spamming macros/veritashi/malleustypical, wouldn't it be better to have a longer timer? So from 7 seconds delay casting veritas, you can have a 40, 50, heck even 60 second timer between every veritas cast? That way, with or without the "OP auras" that Laws and Imps are accused of having (despite Nature having their own kind of "aura" (notice the quotation marks?), greater mana regens, everyone uses their veritas sparingly.
Re: Veritas/Malleus/Keening mana consumption
ok
why do we even need a poll to change two rites that consume 10 mana, take 3 seconds to cast and deal 40-60 damage?
TEN MANA POINTS...
i would like to see how long would a battle last if you had a line in the middle, players couldn't go through, but rites would go to the other side at full damage. in 30 seconds, without any need to meditate, a law or tek priest could deal atleast 400 damage. just for tests, a purely keening vs malleus fight. oh the spam
my suggestions are to increase veritas to 40 mana and keening/malleus to 50 mana. people will use them, but a tad less. we can adjust further from there, but this is better than nothing.
some people do have a point when they say nerfing rites will mean priests won't make any sense because they're supposed to use rites. i have to agree with them. they should be kicking ass with rites ONLY and not that + gm healing/gm resistance/blesses/blessed weapons/etc etc etc
but all the gazillion ideas in the past to make priest physically weak but great at rites didn't, and won't go through.
so the solution is nerfing the rite parts.
although 100 for veritas seems a bit too much imo, darian does have a point. if you are forced to use only one per med (and then imperial would have the advantage due to their new rite) you won't spam it, you will use it to save your group in that dire moment. if you timed it well, you saved your team. if you didn't, too bad.
atm it can be like, dire situation, let's use veritas!oh wait, it wasn't needed, no biggie, we can use it again
i still say 40 for veritas, 50 for keening/malleus, but based on darian's way of thinking i could go with 60 for veritas making sure you make 2 veritas/3 at best (if you let some time pass and have high int monk)
apart from playing with the mana consumptions, increasing cooldown timers is the way to go (imo)
if it's 50, they still use mana and 3 of those and you're out of it, and if there's a cooldown (a decent one), you can switch between them and use 2, maybe 3 to full extent, but then it's game over and you must go away and med

Keening/Malleus is as OP as Veritas.
They're both over the top considering their mana consumption.

Then delete them from the tome and make Veritas global. Then all religions can decide how Veritas should be, PvP and PvM wise.Boris wrote:Keening/Malleus is as OP as Veritas.

Might start thinking on adding requirements for such rituals since they're "that OP"
For example; when casting the ritual you need blocks of clay...1 per cast?
As the almighty-onehitting Nature Wardens require fertile dirts...
Should also give some market for the harvesters.
Re: Veritas/Malleus/Keening mana consumption
not a bad suggestion from zara, but i think some people will think of it as "just annoying".
cooldown + mana consumption increased is fast, easy fix. won't spam as much, nor as quickly

Malleus should use 1 sledge hammer per use!Zaradon wrote:Boris wrote:Keening/Malleus is as OP as Veritas.
