How about whoever decides to be smart on the rules gets a 1 week jail? As Harlequin mentioned on another post, we're not 3 year olds anymore..

It's stupid to have rules that you can be punished for without breaking them. That's what you're arguing. A minimum of rules and an "unspoken code" that you should be jailed for breaking. It's a bad idea.

Please explain where the rules are unclear.
Grey area will always be favoured to one of the sides according to each situation, so if you go there, there would be a chance of jail, discouraging players from doing assholish stuff, increasing RP between robbers/victims and most of all RP quality.
This is aimed at both sides which includes blue vs robber, robber vs blue.

The problem is more fundamental than that. The base of your argument is "don't be an ass or you will be punished" - which is subjective and arbitrary. Rules need to be objective and provide a clear principle of right and wrong.

Right and wrong is subjective to your own values, no matter how many rules are applied, someone somewhere will think it's not bad and will ask for further explanation. KISS should be the way.

What I wrote is meant to say that the rules should be so clear that reading them will give you a full understanding of what is correct and what leads to punishment. Your ideas of "assholish behavior", nice concept by the way, is nothing but your own values packed into some kind of idea that you hope the GMs support if they ever have to make a judgement call. Incidentally your idea also will create many more judgement calls because the rules are neither clear nor comprehensive enough.

The current rules are full of "loopholes" if we make new rules just make sure that dosen't happen and if does it gets fixed. Thoose that find theese loopholes should report them and shouldn't be punished if they use them as the Gm's can in noway know if it was intentional or an accident.

Too bad you don't remember people getting jailed/banned for abuse, back in the days.

Not sure what that means but I think it means that you get our points and we win yes?
