Traditionally 9 out of 10 blacks in the US vote democratic. 90% voted for Al Gore for example as well. Your race shit makes it hard for you to see the world without bias, try focussing on other things once in a while.Mike wrote:If we assume the spread of conservatives and liberalsis equal among the races, black conservatives seem to have voted for a black guy rather than a conservative. That's the interesting part because we're supposed to be looking at the issues, not whether our candidate is from our race. Black conservatives. . . . . . . Yeah no, it's like trying to find the missing tribe of African Jews. I'm sure they're out there but not in the numbers you're eluding too. Biggest problem with the election is that Republican or Democrat, there is always a majority of low information voters that stick to their base regardless of the position a candidate takes on issues. Republicans have it en masse with the White male voters, Democrats have it en masse in the African American voters, just how it is and I would add that it isn't anything new, not sure why this is a thing with you.Mike wrote:If we assume the spread of conservatives and liberalsis equal among the races, black conservatives seem to have voted for a black guy rather than a conservative.
