Description:
Call him a haberdasher or a couturier if you will, but a tailor is more than just a simple men’s or women’s clothier. Able to make simple clothing is just one aspect of this noble merchant, the tailor is also able to ply his skill to hides which allow him to craft exquisite pieces of leather or studded armor. Though he cannot himself collect many of the hide types, he is able to purchase or trade for the most sought after hides which when crafted into armor of either type possess properties which his customers would most assuredly find extremely useful. Discovering which hides possess which properties is in no way difficult for the most skilled of tailors, though his skill in Arm’s Lore, he can discover the properties of a pile of hides as well as when used on armor or weaponry, discover its current durability. His most frequent customers will be those who practice any of the magical arts but on occasion, even fighters clad in the most cumbersome of heavier armors have been known to seek out his trade for a more comfortable light weight armor they can wear around town.
